McPeek's Timepiece was founded in 1976 by my grandfather, Robert McPeek Sr., following his retirement as the Assistant Chief of Police of the Salinas Police Department, after 28 years of service. Robert Sr. studied horology under Master watch and clockmaker Harry Johnson. The business was founded with a commitment to the quality restoration and sales of fine timepieces, such as Rado watches. My grandfather often mentioned that as a business owner, his greatest reward came from the happiness of his customer when he returned treasured timepieces like antique Longines watches, restored to their original beauty and functionality.
